We’re excited to announce that our Adult Judo Belt Promotion, led by Coach David Terao, will take place Wednesday December 17th at 8:15 PM!

Join us to support your teammates, celebrate their hard work, and take part in a great night for our Judo community.

As always, promotions are kept confidential—only the coaches know who will be promoted. The only way to find out if it’s your night… is to show up!

It’s Time for the Fifty/50 Adult Christmas Party!

(Right after the belt promotion — it’s totally fine if you’re a little sweaty!)

We’ll be celebrating with a catered feast from North Italia Tysons, including:

Chris Wojcik is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Jeff Serafin and one of the most exciting rising competitors on the U.S. grappling scene. Known for his sharp technical game, relentless pace, and modern approach to fundamentals, Chris has made a name for himself on both local and national stages.

He placed 4th at the prestigious ADCC West Coast Trials (77kg). Throughout his career Chris has earned multiple IBJJF titles, including:

  •  2019 Purple Belt Middleweight No-Gi World Champion

  • 2021 Brown Belt Chicago Open Middleweight Champion

  •  2021 Brown Belt Chicago Open No-Gi Medium Heavy Champion

  •  2021 Brown Belt Jiu Jitsu Con No-Gi Medium Heavy Champion

  • 2021 Brown Belt Houston Open Middleweight Champion

Now competing at black belt, Chris continues to train and teach out of Serafin Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Whether you’re an active competitor or a dedicated hobbyist, learning from Chris offers a unique opportunity to absorb cutting-edge technique from a rapidly ascending athlete.

Join us for our Annual In-House Tournament. Please choose a division to register for! $20 per division or $30 for both. Weigh-Ins will be held in the academy the Wed/Thurs/Fri prior to the event. Last weigh in is Friday at 6pm. No registrations will be accepted on the day of the event. 

Youth Comps start at 9am and Adult Comps start at 12pm.
