We are excited to host a Youth Program Coaching Assistant Training  session for all individuals interested in supporting and strengthening our youth Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Judo programs. This training is an opportunity to learn what it truly means to be part of our coaching team and to help shape a positive, safe, and high-quality learning environment for our students.

This program is open to:

  • Adult members currently training at Fifty/50

  • Parents or guardians of children enrolled in our youth program

  • Teens, aged13+, who are currently training or have previously trained at Fifty/50

No prior coaching experience is required—just a genuine interest in helping kids learn, grow, and succeed through martial arts and a willingness to learn from our experienced coaches in how you can assist during class.

What We’ll Cover

Led by Coach and Co-Founder Jen Hall, this training will provide a comprehensive introduction to the role of a coaching assistant at Fifty/50, including:

  • The responsibilities and expectations of a coaching assistant

  • Best practices for working with youth in BJJ and Judo settings

This session will include discussion, real-world examples, and practical guidance drawn directly from how our youth program operates day to day.
